Personalized HR Solutions

Kristin Harrison
Why I Do This

"After decades of watching small business owners navigate their hardest people moments completely alone, I realized the gap wasn't a lack of caring. It was a lack of access. I built Personalized HR Solutions to change that."

Kristin Harrison

MBA - Fractional HR Consultant

Kristin’s career is defined by one consistent theme: being brought into complex organizations to elevate HR from a transactional function into a true strategic business partnership. One that drives growth, reduces cost, and builds the people foundation that allows a company to perform at its best.

With more than 30 years of HR leadership experience including 15 years at the Chief People Officer and Senior Vice President level across global, multi-site organizations, Kristin has partnered with CEOs and executive teams to solve the people challenges that keep business owners up at night. She has guided organizations through mergers and acquisitions, workforce restructurings, compensation redesigns, compliance gaps, and leadership transitions across industries including manufacturing, engineering, construction, healthcare, telecommunications, financial services, and professional services.

She has worked with organizations ranging from startups and nonprofits to companies generating between $100 million and $50 billion in revenue, giving her a breadth of perspective that few HR executives can offer. Her operational background includes direct experience in ISO (9001 & 13485), OSHA, LEAN manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen environments — giving her the ability to speak the language of operations, not just HR. In every engagement the work has gone far beyond policy and paperwork.

After decades of watching small business owners navigate their hardest people moments completely alone, Kristin realized that the gap was not a lack of caring. It was a lack of access. She built Personalized HR Solutions to change that.

Kristin completed her MBA in Business from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University graduating with distinction, and her BS in Business Management and Human Resources from SUNY Empire State College, both earned while working full time in HR and raising a young family. She did not study HR strategy in a classroom and then apply it later. She tested every concept against a real business problem the same semester she learned it.

Client Testimonials

Slide

“Kristin has been an invaluable resource for me as a CEO — particularly during a difficult employee transition, where her guidance helped me navigate the situation properly with our PEO. Beyond the tactical HR support, she’s also been a sounding board and executive coach, helping me think clearly through tough people decisions. When I needed help outside her scope, she didn’t just say no — she connected me with the right person who solved it. That kind of integrity is rare.”
